Adobe Portfolio and Behance

In class we had to create a portfolio on Adobe portfolio, and create/share our work on Adobe's Behance page. I included all my work from digital media this year and some of my photography assignments that I had edited for our color photo assignment. I had wanted to add my final photoshoot edits to my Behance but I haven't finished editing them yet so I didn't share it up yet.

Documentary Comments

 Lizzy and Chavana:

It was really good, the editing and extra clips looked great! I wish there was more voice over or music in the background during the video. I learned a lot about Golf and the tips that were given to us. I liked the title slides they did in between each section. I finally learned why golfers work out as much as they do.

Raven and I:

Watching it back today I could've edited the lighting to make it not as white washed. We could've added some words and cut some scenes down a little bit, but I really like how the process was showed and how relaxing the video came across.

Marisa and Hannah:

I really liked how they did the interview with their coach. The transitions were clean and nice as well. I like the balance between the talking and the music, maybe they could've added the music underneath and just had the music very low underneath to give it more connectedness. I like how they showed real footage from the practices and games.

Patrick:

I really liked the voice over he added to the photos, it showed how others thought of him. I loved how he kept the music underneath the speaking and clips it made it feel more together. I wish the photos he had in there were more clear and not as grainy.

Austin:

I liked how he took videos from other colleges and tied it into his own work. I wished he had fixed the audio problem with the music being to loud over him speaking. I loved how he explained how his/ a baseball team is a family. I loved how he added the quote into his film, it really helped solidify the meaning of the film.

Ipad Icon

In class we had used Adobe illustrator on the iPads and create our own iPad icon for an app and do the tutorials in class (the apron and the avocado). I created an app for my photography. I wanted to use the design/app to make it a place to store my photos, kind of like changing the photos icon on our iPhones, but make it specifically for my photography. In creating the apron we used the box and circle tool to create the basic shapes behind the outline. We learned how to use the selection and direct selection tool and select certain shapes and pathways to move, delete, and recolor the lines to create a shape, which happened to be the apron. For my app icon I used the the square tools to create the app icon outside and the camera on the inside. I also used the triangle tool to create a tree and use the fill for the color. Then I used the text tool and changed the font to put the "LW" in there for my initials.

MCA Dedication

For the MCA Dedication I came in after my 9:25 class and got set up in the lab to show my work for our digital media class, my photography class, and for my video audio editing class. I stayed until 1:45/2 pm. I helped set up the green screen for photography. I showed off my Jurassic photo, my current editing work in my audio and editing course, and some of the photos I edited and didn't edit for my photography class. I sat up top through the dedication until about noon and then came into the Mac Lab and worked. I had some professors like Rhonda Engstrom come up to me and ask to see what I was doing and explained it to her and some others that had come up to me within the time I was in the Mac lab working. I loved being able to listen to June and the sculptor of the statue of the Dancing couple and the process they went through to get to the statue out in the campus.
