Creating our own Monster

In class today we got to learn on adobe illustrator and use the pen tool better. We got to create a new friend/monster with the tools we learned in the tutorial. I used the pen tool a lot and also the copy and paste on like the legs and arms for both my monsters. I couldn't choose between the two so here are both my monsters. 

 

Colorize Your Artwork

 Today in class we followed a tutorial about colorizing our art work. We messed around with the layers, the color gradients, and text and learned some tips of how to fix, move and add parts to the photo/design.

This was the original photo design.

This was the one I created. I changed the type font, the color of the gradient, and the color of the wall. 

1000 Words

 In class the last couple of days we used photoshop to take a portrait photo and use words to recreate the photo. 

This was my original photo we got this year for our headshots. 

We got to use the Color range and create new layers to pull out the shadows and mid tones in the photo and merged them into a black and white photo. We also learned how to create new brush Sets that we could use our own words for. We also learned how to use gradient overlay to the words we used and created a colored version of our photo made of words.
